New “Green” colour appointments

We’ve introduced a new Green colour in the appointments section for treatments that require a mandatory patch test.

Please take note of the following important details:

  • Green appointments indicate that a patch test is required at least 48 hours before the service.
  • Staff must check for any upcoming green appointments and contact clients in advance to arrange the patch test.
  • Once you’ve spoken to or messaged the client, add a note on the appointment confirming that contact was made and the client is aware of the patch test requirement.
  • If the client cannot complete the patch test within 48 hours of their appointment, inform them that their appointment will need to be cancelled and request that they reschedule to a later date when the test can be completed in time.
  • Treatments that fall within Green categories as of Oct 2025 are, Brow Lamination, Hybrid Tinting and all Eyelash treatments except lash removal
  • If any issues arise, please notify your supervisor / manager as soon as possible.

Check the appointment calendar daily and ensure all green appointments are managed according to these guidelines.

Patch test guidelines

A patch test is required if:

  • The client has not had the treatment in the past 6 months, or
  • Their last patch test was done more than 6 months ago.

Regular clients who have had the same treatment within the last 6 months do not require a new patch test.

Always double-check the client’s record before confirming if a patch test is needed.
