Step #3: Application of First Layer
- Apply a thin layer of rubber base on the nails and cure it for 90 secs using the LED lamp.
- Apply a medium bead of hard gel, drag it away from the cuticle area and spread it from side to side.
- Avoid thick build up around the free edge of the cuticle area.
- Use a liner brush to perfect the cuticle and side walls.
- After building and curing one nail, turn the hand over to create the apex.
- Seal the free edge.
- Build and cure one nail at the time.
- Cure the nails using the LED lamp for to 90 seconds.
(Note: If the client experience any ‘heat-spike’, politely ask them to take their hands off from the lamp for a second and then put them back).
Step #4: Buff and File
- Dip the lint free wipes in the cleaner and wipe the nails.
- Remove the tacky layer with acetone or cleaner.
- Refine the nail using the 100/180 grit file.
(Note: Concentrate on reducing the product around the cuticle area and the free edge to create a smooth surface.) - Gently buff the nails using the Nail Buffer.
Step #5: Top Coat
- Apply the Extreme Shine Top Coat or Matte Top Coat based on the client’s preference, and seal the free edge.
- Cure it using the LED lamp for 90 seconds.
