Treatment Procedure

Preparation

  • Sanitise hands and tools. Remove top coat and gel polish shine using a 100/180 grit file. 

Soak Off  

  • Soak cotton pads in acetone, wrap nails with clips, and leave for 10-15 mins. 

Removal  

  • Remove clips one nail at a time. Gently scrape off loose gel with a cuticle pusher/orange stick. Support the natural nail tip to avoid damage. 

Buff and Shape  

  • Buff off any remaining base coat with a 100/180 grit file, focusing on cuticle areas. Shape nails as desired. 

Cleaning  

  • Clean nails with a lint-free wipe and moisturise cuticles with oil. 

What if?

  • Fire Alarm rings

    STOP the service immediately and guide the client to the fire exit. Continue when it is safe to return, if in case you are unable to complete the treatmet, let the supervisor know and record the notes under clients profile in the booking system.

  • Client is unhappy with the treatment

    Review if you have missed anything. Explain to the client about the process and Remember to complete the after pictures.

  • There’s a bleeding

    Use the disposable blood styptic stick to stop the bleeding.
