Good to know
- You need to be E-File trained in order to use the E-File on a client.
- Consult a GP before using the E-File if you or your client have diabetes or any other health conditions.
- You can use the following procedures for any appropriate manicure treatment according to your preference.
- The E-File must not be exposed to water in any way.
- It is recommended to apply the E-File only to dry skin and a proper care must be taken to prevent any contact between water and the machine, its cords, or outlets.

Treatment Procedure
- Sanitise you hands and request the client to sanitise their hands.
- Ensure the client’s skin and nails are completely dry.
- Ensure that your chosen E-File bits are sanitised. Insert the bit into the handpiece and make sure the chuck is securely locked.
- Set the machine to the appropriate direction based on your dominant hand: right-handed technicians should use the E-File in the forward/clockwise direction, while left-handed technicians should use it in the reverse/anti-clockwise direction.
- Adjust your machine’s RPM to the appropriate speed for your E-File bit.
- After using the E-File bit, unlock the chuck and set the bit aside for sanitisation.
- Use a dusting brush to remove any excess cuticle or dead skin.
- To prevent dust from accumulating in the E-File handpiece when not in use, insert the E-File safety and lock it in place.
- Turn off and unplug the E-File when not in use.
