Treatment Procedure
Nail Prep
- Use rubber base for clear and white BIAB.Â
- Remove gel colour and BIAB with an E-file or with 100/180 grit file.
- Smooth remaining BIAB and reduce nail length if needed.Â
- Trim excess cuticles. Â
- Cleanse the area with nail cleaner.Â
First Layer
- Apply a thin layer of BIAB, no need to cure.Â
Second Layer
- Apply a medium bead of BIAB, spread from side to side, and perfect with a liner brush.
- Avoid thick build-up at the cuticle area and seal the free edge.
- Cure for 90 seconds using LED lamp.
(Note: If the client experience any ‘heat-spike’, politely ask them to take their hands off from the lamp for a second and then put them back)
Refine
- Remove tacky layer with acetone or cleaner.
- Refine nails using a 100/180 grit file and buff.
Top Coat
- Apply top coat, cure for 90 seconds.
- Moisturise cuticles with essence/oil.
When to stop/refuse treatment
- When a client refuses to sign Nail Consent form
- Visible infections, discolouration, cuts and unusual formation on and around nails
- Irrespective to the condition of nails, if a client feels uneasy or unusual in anyway
- You must fill treatment refusal form with pictures and fill in all sections with a brief note
