Eyebrow/Eyelash Tinting TS

Good to Know

  • Duration

    5 – 10 mins (for both 15-20 mins)

  • Consultation Form

    Use Eyelash consult form

  • Tools

    Use sterilised tools from the UV sterilisers

  • Visual Inspection

    Visually inspect clients eyebrows/eyelashes, check for any damages

  • STOP

    When a Client refuses to fill consultation or Found any damages around or in the eyebrow/eyelash

  • Refusal Form

    Fill “Treatment Refusal” form with brief reason & pictures if a treatment is refused

  • Notes

    1. If the client has not had the treatment for the past 6 months, request them to have the Patch Test before tinting 2. If the client plans to have brow lamination or eyelash lifting within a week, advise them to include tinting during the treatment, as the tint color may fade due to the chemicals. 3. The tint color only retains in the hair, not the skin. So, inform the client that any gaps won’t be covered by the tint.

Before the Treatment

  1. Explain the client about the available colours (Dark brown, light brown, medium brown, deep dark brown, black and dark black)
  2. Consult with the client and ask their preference.
  3. If they need threading, do threading first before the tinting.
  4. If they need waxing do the tinting first, then go for the waxing procedure.
  5. If the client requires both (eyebrow & lash) tinting, first proceed with eyelash tinting and leave it for 5 -10 mins (lash lift requires 10 mins). Then continue to do the eyebrow tinting.

Treatment Procedure

Eyelash Tinting 

  • Mix the tint colour as required

Eyelash Tinting 

  • Apply Vaseline on eyelids to prevent staining. 
  • Place tinting paper under lower lashes. 
  • Apply tint to lower lashes (client looks up), starting from the base to tips. 
  • Apply tint to upper lashes (client closes eyes). 
  • Leave for 5-7 mins, then remove with cotton buds or baby wipes. 

Eyebrow Tinting 

  • Apply preferred tint color from inner to outer brows. 
  • Leave for: Light (on/off), Medium (3-4 mins), Dark (5-6 mins). 
  • Remove tint with damp cotton pads. 

What if?

  • Fire Alarm rings

    STOP the service immediately and guide the client to the fire exit. Continue when it is safe to return, if in case you are unable to complete the treatmet, let the supervisor know and record the notes under clients profile in the booking system.

  • Client is unhappy with the treatment

    Review if you have missed anything. Explain to the client about the process and Remember to complete the after pictures.

  • Adjusting Tint

    The client is unsatisfied with the colour or if it appears too dark, use makeup remover to gently rub and lighten the tint colour. Or The client feels the tint is too light then reapply the same colour once again.

  • Sun tan

    The client has a sun tan and their eyebrows appear in a golden yellow colour, use the tint with one drop of developer (or) explain them it is difficult to achieve the exact colour.

  • Tint Stained

    The tint is stained around the eyebrows, dip the cotton pad into makeup remover and clean that area

  • Tint in eyes

    the tint gets into the client’s eyes, rinse with water or consult with a supervisor.
