Review your best practices at work in order to familiarise yourself with our policies. These guidelines are intended to assist you in maintaining a high level of professionalism and smoothly managing your everyday routine.
Ensure all your documents are up to date. If you have any changes, you must notify us using “Change of circumstance” form available within this app. Notify us with ample time for your changes to take effect.

Be Aware
> The staff rooms and their facilities at each branch will differ. When working at Asda or Tesco, it is essential to comply with Asda / Tesco staff room policy, and if a locker is provided, please store your belongings there.
> Staff rooms are provided for your basic needs and sometimes it may not accommodate multiple staff memebers. Please use it sensibly.
> To avoid over crowding, it is best to adhere to your shift supervisors break allocations. -
Do's
> Leave your belongings in the given space.
> Staff rooms are common place, keep it clean and ensure it is ready to use for next colleague.
> Ensure you have taken all your items at the end of the shift.
>Only at Asda: You are allowed to bring your personal belongings and leave them at the customer ottoman seat if a locker is not provided to you. -
Don'ts
> Do not enter staff room often and unnecessarily at City Centre branch.
> At Tesco & Asda you are not permitted to use any food items offered by the shopping centre in the staff room.
> Do not leave your items in the staff room after your shift ends.

Prohibited
> Shopping whilst you are at work is strictly prohibited.
> If your workplace is at Asda or Tesco branch, you will be treated as one of their colleagues while entering the shopping centre. You may also be entitled to a random checks. -
Good to Know

Permitted
> A reasonable amount of shopping required for your break time is permitted.
> You must always demand for the receipt of your shopping and retain it until the shift ends.

> Always wear the provided tunic. If a tunic is not provided then wear a black outfit
> Wear only black trousers & black shoes
> Cardigans are permitted to wear, ensure they are black
> Head scarf’s are permitted -
Don'ts
> No Jumpers / hoodies / Jackets
> No Jeans
> No coloured footwears

Do's
> Clock-in & out using the PIN provided to you.
> Clock-in when you start your shift & not when you are entering to work.
> Remember to clock-out for your breaks and clock-in when returned.

If
In-case if you are not able to clock-in for some reason, then you must print your complete working hours manually in the file provided at the salon. Ask your colleague or supervisor for any assistance

Don'ts
> Do not clock-in/out for your colleagues - You will be in breach of policies.
> Do not clock-in before the start of your shift.
> Avoid clocking-in early after the breaks.
The clock-in system undergoes regular monitoring, with real-time alerts being sent to the administrator to ensure strict adherence to the policy.
You will receive a 30 minutes unpaid break for every 4 hours of continuous work.
Use the designated method of notification. Ensure you provide a reasonable amount of time for your request to be addressed.
In case of emergency notices, promptly call your manager to inform them of your situation.

Best Practice
> It is recommended to pass the business contact to your family / friends to contact you in case of any emergency arises. If you haven't passed it then just tell them to google us to find the contact number.

Don'ts
> Personal phones, smart watches and any personal electronic devices are banned while you are at work
> Avoid using any business electronic devices for your personal use.
> Any use other than business purpose will be considered as personal use

> You are not allowed to take any pictures of clients on your personal devices for any reason.
