Good to Know

Treatment Procedure

Preparation

  • Sanitise hands and client’s nails. Sterilise tools and remove dead skin with a nail drill. 

Cuticle Cleaning  

  • Apply cuticle remover, wait 2-5 mins, then wipe off with a damp cotton pad. Trim cuticles if needed. 

Shaping  

  • Shape nails with a 100/180 grit file as per client preference. Ensure nails are even and clean with nail cleaner. 

Apply Polish  

  • Apply polish close to the cuticle without touching the skin. Use smooth, even strokes for full coverage. 

Final Polish  

  • Apply a thin coat of normal polish, seal edges, and let dry. Add a second coat and dry completely. Finish with a top coat and cuticle oil. Use quick-dry drops if needed. 

What if?

  • Fire Alarm rings

    STOP the service immediately and guide the client to the fire exit. Continue when it is safe to return, if in case you are unable to complete the treatmet, let the supervisor know and record the notes under clients profile in the booking system.

  • Client is unhappy with the result

    The customer is unhappy with the results or come back with damaged nails, offer them nails redo. (Note: If a technician is unavailable, offer them an alternate suitable time for their next appointment.)

  • Smudged

    The polish is smudged or faded after the treatment, offer the client a touch-up specifically for the smudged nails.
