Contraindiction for the procedure
There are certain circumstances in which the treatment cannot be performed. We are unable to do eyelash extension treatment, If:
- The client has any recent eye and nose surgery or permanent make up in the eye area.
- The client has blisters/wounds, itchiness, burns and redness around the eye area.
- The client has any signs of eye infections: for example a stye (eczema), conjunctivitis (pink eye).
- The client has hypersensitive skin and has not a proper natural eye lashes.
- The client has Trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder).
Before the Treatment
- Make sure all the supplies are cleansed, disinfected and sanitised.
- Recommend them to use the rest room beforehand and advise them to remove the contact lenses to avoid any discomfort during the treatment.
- Request them to fill the consultation form including with personal information and allergic conditions (if any).
- Explain the clients about the available styles (Russian lashes, individual lashes) and lengths (natural, long) with the existing sample images.
(Note: The mega volume lashes are not available in our service). - Discuss with them and determine the suitable one based on their preference.
- Advise them to take a photo of their original eyelashes before the treatment, to check the difference at the end with the final results.
Treatment Procedure
Preparation
- Cleanse the eye area, secure bottom lashes, apply primer, and ensure eyes remain closed. Â
Mapping
- Mark lash sizes on gel pads. Â
Glue PrepÂ
- Shake glue, pour a small amount, and refresh every 15-20 mins. Â
ApplicationÂ
- Use tweezers to dip lashes in glue and apply to natural lashes, avoiding skin contact. Check for gaps, apply bonder, and dry with a fan. Â
Final StepsÂ
- Remove patches, let the client open their eyes, show results, explain aftercare, and recommend infills every 3 weeks.Â
