Before the Treatment
- Make sure all the supplies are cleansed, disinfected and sanitised.
- Advise the clients to remove their contact lenses before the treatment.
- Check the client’s lashes are healthy to proceed with the treatment.
- Fill consultation form which includes their (personal information and any allergic conditions).
- Explain the available styles with our own references and ask their preferences (natural, curly, straight).
(Note: This procedure can only be performed on natural lashes. If the client requests thicker and longer lashes, kindly explain the potential end results using sample pictures for reference.) - Make sure that the client has not had eyelash extensions within approximately 3 weeks prior to the appointment.
Treatment Procedure
Preparation
- Clean eye makeup with makeup remover.
- Cover lower lashes with eye patches and secure with medical tape.
- Choose the appropriate silicon shield based on natural lashes.
Apply Silicon Shield
- Place the shield on the eyelid and apply glue to secure it.
- Apply glue in the middle of the shield and spread evenly.
- Ensure glue is fresh.
Comb the Lashes
- Lift and comb lashes upwards using a lash tool.
Apply the Lotion
- Apply lifting lotion to the middle of the lashes and leave for 10 minutes.
- Place cover shields over lashes and leave for another 10 minutes.
- Remove lotion and shields, then apply the setting lotion and repeat.
Tint the Lashes
- Apply tint for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove tint with cotton buds or pads, then gently remove lashes from the shield.
- Clean any leftover glue with cotton pads.
Lower Lash Tinting
- Place silicon patches under lower lashes and apply tint for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove tint with cotton buds and remove the patches.
Final Recommendation
- Results last 5-6 weeks.
- Recommend booking the next appointment after 7-8 weeks.
- Tinting can be done every 3-4 weeks
When to stop/refuse treatment
- No patch test or no clear record of eyelash glue patch test or expired patch test
- When the client refuse to sign the eyelash consent form
- Visible infection, dry skin, cuts and unsual formation
- If a client feels uneasy or unusual in anyway
- You must fill treatment refusal form with pictures and fill in the sections with brief note
