Treatment Procedure
Step #1: Nail Preparation
- Sanitise you hands and request the client to sanitise their hands.
- Ensure the tools are sterlised.
- Remove BIAB polish using E-File or 180 grit nail file.
Step #2: Soak off
- Soak cotton pad in pure acetone, place it in the nail and cover it with nail clips, do the same on each nail.
- Leave to soak for 10 – 15 minutes.
(Note: Times may vary depending on the products used such as; nail art, glitter and number of layers.)
Step #3: Removal
- Remove the foil or clip from one nail whilst keeping the others wrapped in acetone.
- Use a cuticle pusher to gently scrape away the BIAB.
(Note: Don’t force the BIAB off, if it is still hard allow the BIAB to soak it for few more minutes.) - Make sure to support the customer’s natural nail tip with your finger while removing the BIAB to avoid bending or snapping the nail.
Step #4: Buff and Shape
- If there is any BIAB residue left, use a 100/180 grit Buffer to gently buff it off.
- Slightly do the buffing of any remaining BIAB on the nail plate. This helps to prevent excessive buffing of the natural nails.
(Note: Concentrate on the areas around the cuticles.)
Step #5: Cleaning
- Clean the nails using nail cleaner.
- Apply the cuticle essecnce/oil around the cuticle area to moisturise them.
