A BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) Infills is the treatment to infill the BIAB Nails

Treatment Procedure

Step #1: Top Coat & Colour Removal

  1. Request the client to sanitise their hands.
  2. Using the E-file or a 120/180 grit file, remove gel polish colour.
    (Note: If there is any air bubble or lifting up gel under the gel colour, remove completely using the E-File.)
  3. Follow the same procedure for all the nails.
  4. Remove any dust using duster brush and wipe with cleaner.

Step #2: Nail Prep

  1. Push back using cuticle pusher and trim excess cuticles using nippers.
  2. Make sure that any lifting BIAB has been removed using a E-File or a 120/180 grit File.
  3. With the 120/180 grit file, gently smooth over the surface of the remaining hard gel and reduce the length of the nail if necessary.
  4. Dehydrate and cleanse the regrowth area of the natural nail with 100% pure acetone.
    (Note: No need to use any cleaner.)

Step #3: First Layer

  1. Apply a thin layer of BIAB on the nails and cure it for 90 secs using the LED lamp.
    (Note: The rubber base is only need for clear and white colour BIAB, other colours doesn’t need rubber base.)
  2. Avoid thick build up around the free edge of the cuticle area.
  3. Seal the free edge.
  4. Build and cure one nail at the time.
  5. Cure the nail using the LED lamp for 90 seconds.
    (Note: If the client experience any ‘heat-spike’, politely ask them to take their hands off from the lamp for a second and then put them back).

Step #4: Shape

  1. Damp cotton pads in the cleaner and use it to wipe the nails clean.
  2. Refine the nail using the 120/180 grit file.
    (Note: Concentrate on reducing the product around the cuticle area and the free edge to create a smooth surface.)
  3. Gently buff the nails using a 100/180 Buffer.

Step #5: Top Coat

  1. For a nude finish apply a layer of extreme shine top coat.
  2. Cure it using the LED lamp for 90 seconds.
    (Note: No need to wipe or cleanse after curing since, all top coats are non-wipe)
  3. If the extensions are intended to be finished with the gel polish colour, proceed with the ‘Gel Colour Application’ procedure.

When to stop / refuse treatment

When a client refuses to sign Nail Consent form
Visible infections, discolouration, cuts and unusual formation on and around nails
Irrespective to the condition of nails, if a client feels uneasy or unusual in anyway
You must fill treatment refusal form with pictures and fill in all sections with a brief note.
