Step #1: Top Coat & Colour Removal
- Request the client to sanitise their hands.
- Using the E-file or a 120/180 grit file, remove gel polish colour.
(Note: If there is any air bubble or lifting up gel under the gel colour, remove completely using the E-File.) - Follow the same procedure for all the nails.
- Remove any dust using duster brush and wipe with cleaner.
Step #2: Nail Prep
- Push back using cuticle pusher and trim excess cuticles using nippers.
- Make sure that any lifting BIAB has been removed using a E-File or a 120/180 grit File.
- With the 120/180 grit file, gently smooth over the surface of the remaining hard gel and reduce the length of the nail if necessary.
- Dehydrate and cleanse the regrowth area of the natural nail with 100% pure acetone.
(Note: No need to use any cleaner.)
Step #3: First Layer
- Apply a thin layer of BIAB on the nails and cure it for 90 secs using the LED lamp.
(Note: The rubber base is only need for clear and white colour BIAB, other colours doesn’t need rubber base.) - Avoid thick build up around the free edge of the cuticle area.
- Seal the free edge.
- Build and cure one nail at the time.
- Cure the nail using the LED lamp for 90 seconds.
(Note: If the client experience any ‘heat-spike’, politely ask them to take their hands off from the lamp for a second and then put them back).
Step #4: Shape
- Damp cotton pads in the cleaner and use it to wipe the nails clean.
- Refine the nail using the 120/180 grit file.
(Note: Concentrate on reducing the product around the cuticle area and the free edge to create a smooth surface.) - Gently buff the nails using a 100/180 Buffer.
Step #5: Top Coat
- For a nude finish apply a layer of extreme shine top coat.
- Cure it using the LED lamp for 90 seconds.
(Note: No need to wipe or cleanse after curing since, all top coats are non-wipe) - If the extensions are intended to be finished with the gel polish colour, proceed with the ‘Gel Colour Application’ procedure.
