Treatment Procedure

Step #1: Preparation

  1. Sanitise your hands and request the clients to santise their hands.
  2. Ensure the tools are sterlised.

Step #2: Gel Extension Removal

  1. Using the 100/180 nail file or nail drill, remove all the excess length and hard gel, ensuring the base coat remains intact for soaking off.
(Note: Make sure to not to damage the natural nails.)
  2. Damp the cotton pad with acetone and cover the nails.
  3. Soak the nails with the acetone for 5-10 mins.
(Note: Don’t force the gel off, if it is still hard allow the gel to soak for longer.)
  4. Remove the cotton pad one nail at a time and keep the rest covered with acetone.
(Note: If all removed at the same time, the gel will begin to reset and get harder.)
  5. Make sure to support the customer’s natural nail tip with your finger while removing the gel to avoid bending or snapping the nail.

Step #3: Buff and File

  1. Gently buff off nail using 100/180 grit nail file to remove the remaining gel and keep the length as the client’s preference.
  2. Remove the dust using the brush and clean the nail with the cleaner.
  3. Apply a small amount of cuticle essence/oil to the cuticle area to moisturise them.
